The Schuylkill Navy of Philadelphia is very excited for the 87th Stotesbury Cup Regatta. The 2013 Stotesbury Cup Regatta promises to be one of our most exciting events in recent history. Almost 200 teams, 1,000 boats and 5,700 athletes are participating in Stotesbury in 2013.With record numbers upon us, The Schuylkill Navy is proud to announce a new partnership with CBS Radio and CBSPhilly.com. This partnership with CBS is going to bring many fresh and exciting aspects to Stotesbury, while stilEdit CSS Stylel preserving our 87 years of tradition. All of our efforts are geared toward growing The Stotesbury Cup Regatta and supporting the work of the Schuylkill Navy of Philadelphia in lending support to programs like Philadelphia City Rowing, the non-profit that introduces rowing to inner-city students who might not have the opportunity to enjoy the sport without this wonderful program.
Stotesbury Village:
The Stotesbury Village is our newest major attraction at this year’s Stotesbury Cup Regatta. The Stotesbury Village will feature enhanced food & beverage offerings including Botto’s Italian Sausage, Little Caesar’s Pizza and the Coca-Cola Experience. You will also be able to Explore Toyota in the Stotesbury Village with Toyota’s latest line of vehicles on site for your exploration.
While there, experience a “meet and greet” with U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Rowers Taylor Ritzel and Caroline Lind and take a picture with the gold medals.
Other highlights include the best in home theatre, graduation and Father’s Day gifts from the HiFi House and take a ride in the “Bucket Truck” courtesy of Bartlett Tree Experts (allowing you to experience the race from 80-feet in the air!). Stotesbury U:
With college on the horizon for many Stotesbury athletes, CBS and Stotesbury have created Stotesbury U, a mini-college fair on the water. With students and parents together, this is a great opportunity to explore some local colleges in between heats and get a head-start on the college search process. Join Penn State, Temple and others at Stotesbury U at the 2013 Stotesbury Cup Regatta.
